Description Additional info Product reviews

In Ranching Catalog Part 3, Dorothy Sloan called the 1st issue “exceedingly rare”. In a note to entry 1330 of Rampaging Herd, Ramon Adams detailed the 1st issue points. One of the points was different binding. In addition to being wrapper-bound (there are catalog records of cloth-bound 1st issue copies), this copy meets all the following 1st issue identifying points: (i) author’s name is misspelled i.e;, Newberry not Newbury; (ii) does not contain introduction by John McCarty; (iii) the Table of Contents precedes the Foreword; (iv) does not include the list of illustrations; (v) does not have Roman numerals.

Clarendon: Clarendon Press, [1938]. 1st edition, 1st issue. 244 pages. Stiff wrappers. Housed in a custom cloth-covered clamshell. Book is in VERY GOOD PLUS condition. Clamshell is FINE.
