An avid student of the battle at the Alamo since childhood, drummer, singer, actor and producer Phil Collins has become an author with this, his first book. This book about one of the passions of Collins’ life: the Alamo. Collins became enamored with the Alamo as a child growing up in a London suburb watching Fess Parker as Davy Crockett, King of the Wild Frontier.  According to Collins, all he wanted to do was play the drums and pretend himself Davy Crocket. Crockett died during the siege of the Alamo. Throughout his life, Collins’ Alamo passion has continued undimmed. Collins-- musical prodigy, international star, and gentleman scholar assembled one of the world’s finest collections of Alamo-related materials. In this book, the rock-and-roll legend shares the story.
