The story of the U Ranch and its founders. The U Ranch encompassed approximately 150 sections in Sterling County, Texas. The Preface states the U is located in the Northwest part of Sterling County about 10 miles Northwest of Sterling City. The U headquarters are on the head draws of the North Concho River. Some of the first springs on the North Concho watershed are on the ranch. It was a favorite campsite for the Indians and other travelers with buffalo, antelope and deer to provide food.

Very minor wear to the lower edge and a slight bump to the upper corner of the front board and a barely noticeable bump to the lower corner of the rear board; notwithstanding these condition notations, the book is still NEAR FINE. SIGNED by Caldwell in 2007 in Nashville, Tennessee. #128 of a limited edition of 400 copies.
