Winner of the Authur C. Clark Award, this dystopian novel nspired a 10-part HBO Max miniseries.  The novel is set in the Great Lakes region before and after an epidemic of "Georgia Flu", a fictional swine flu, kills much of the world's population.  Variously described as "unsettling", "magnificent [and] compulsive", "disturbing, inventive and exciting", "ambitious", and "absolutely extraordinary"

New York: Alfred A. Knopf, 2014. 1st edition, 333 pages. Hardcover with Dustjacket. Book is FINE. The dustjacket has the slightest wear to its edges and two small abrasions at the top of the spiine. Overall, very NEAR FINE. Laid in are two photos of Mandel at a book signing event in New York and a flyer from that event. SIGNED by Mandel.
