Description Additional info Product reviews

According to some, Allison killed 21 men; however, there is not consensus on the exact number of men killed by him. According to a letter written by Jim East, one-time sheriff of Tascosa. “Allison was a strong character, true to his friends, but dangerous to his enemies. Clay was inclined to be unreasonable when drinking but at other times, a good friend and neighbor.” Allison was killed in a mishap involving a freight wagon, although the specific events leading to his death differ depending upon who relates the story. The 1920 edition is considered “exceedingly rare”. This 1922 edition is itself very scarce.

[Attica, Indiana, 1922] 1st thus (There was an edition published in 1920 under the same name. The earlier edition has fewer pages (38). There are other differences although the style of writing is similar.). 135 pages. Stiff printed wrappers in custom clamshell. Book has had conservation work done on it. Covers have been reinforced and new end papers added. Overall VERY GOOD in an unblemished custom clamshell.
