Hunting the African Lion

Description Additional info Product reviews

A great anthology of spellbinding stories. Stories from the best books about lion hunting throughout Africa have been collected. Also included are articles by noted hunters specifically commissioned for this book. The 26th title in the African hunting heritage series and the third title in the big five series. A very handsome book to look at and one that will provide much reading enjoyment.

Clinton, N.J.: Amwell Press, 1989. Limited (#633/1000) signed by Rikhoff on a bound-in limitation page. Foreword by Harry Tennison. Illustratied with original full-color plates and line drawings by Guy Coheleach. Hardcover book with textured faux leather with gilt lettering and decorations. 557 pages. All page edges are gilt. Book is housed in slipcase. Book and slipcase both show signs of use (albeit gentle use). There is an adhesive sticker affixed to the rear pastedown by Trophy Room Books, a dealer that had previously handled this book. Book and slipcase are both in VERY GOOD PLUS condition.
